Gosport Half Marathon 2012

The Course has excellent PB potential as it is flat and virtually all off-road. A section of the route is on the service roads of an airfield and the seafront. Unfortunately, the race is not suitable for wheelchair athletes. The race entries tend to be split 50/50 between club and non-club runners, so there is a good mix of abilities that ensures that the race feels busy but rarely crowded. There were over 1,700 entries last year. All finishers receive a medal and a goody bag.
A fun run for children under 12 will take place as the main race is being run - details from www.gosportroadrunners.org.uk
Closing date for postal entries is 10th November. On-line entries will close on 14th November, unless the race limit is reached prior to that date.
